The PTA/PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is a school-based local, state, and national organization that has advocated for children for over 100 years. At Rio Norte, the PTSA supports every student, every teacher, and every team. This year, the PTSA is sponsoring a brand new program of performing arts enrichment. Every student will attend a performance at the beautiful Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons. The PTSA feels very strongly about the integration of the arts in school and is very excited about this program. Bus transportation costs are expensive, so consider this when you make your PTSA donation and please sign up for e-scrip and Ralphs Community Partners. The PTSA hopes to fund this new program without any other fund raising during the year.
At Rio Norte the PTSA also serves as a voice for parents as well as a coordinator for volunteers. Please join our communication database by sharing your email and attend PTSA meetings. There are six meetings this year, both mornings and evenings to accommodate as many members as possible.
